Great Fics

1am this day, I tried connecting and read the rest of the chapters of a FF by two LJ Freelance writers that I really respect, with the codename "TOKYO Lovelight and Youngwoong" ,entitled "UNRECORDED". DANG! I'm really disappointed, I thought it's a complete fic but, NO, hella..It is still in progress. I was enjoying reading and was already in the XXIV-Persephone Chapter , enjoying and picturing every scene in the chap. When I clicked "Next Entry", it's a Modpost, it only means that it isn't complete yet. I should wait for the next update.




The story, "Unrecorded" is about a gifted violinist, Zhang Li Yin and all the tragedies. How she loved playing and how violin became a part of her but in one incident, everything turned inside out. She blames everything on the classical instrument. And now, guess why.



I really like angsty and dramatic stories. The way this story was written was very outstanding, so artistic and the way the writer name the titles of the chapters adds multiple effects. But I would like to tell everybody a fact about my friend writer, Jia Zhang. She's not Chinese, it's only a writer code . She's Japanese. So now, don't think that East Asians can't express themselves fluently in English.]



And now, I think I found a better fic than my uberly fave "Don't Blink". I only read the 1st chap of UBV series and I already had this feeling that it's going to be a better and bigger series than Don't Blink.

UNA BELLA VITA tells the story of Kim Jaejoong, a Zainichi Korean in Japan's seedy underworld. A methodical executioner, Jaejoong is a ghost in the city of Tokyo, with a dark and violent past that continues to haunt him, tearing him between his loyalty and his humanity. However, beneath all the carnage and death, a hidden enemy hides behind the shadow of this war, threatening to change the very face of the Tokyo underworld.

It's my favorite genre, ACTION/ SUSPENSE/ ANGST/ DRAMA and ROMANCE. Like Don't Blink, the only difference is this Fic is truly dark and DB has little humor. With MAFIA, YAKUZA Families, Black Market, Assasins and all stuffs in Tokyo Underworld and then a complicated love story, friendship and betrayal and infinite secrets of characters. I love the Japanese Terms, of course, I know all Yakuza terms, I don't know how I mastered all, Ojou, Obeni, Same-sama, nee-san, domo-sama and all. The way each character was described and how they move in the story,especially Kim Jaejoong, you can really tell he is really a strong and scary character. How he drew his knife in the enemy or how the Yoshio-sai members were killed, I can imagine those scenes and it's pretty. I can feel the emotions of the charaters. The only problem in reading "Una Bella Vita" , most of the chapters are F-Locked, so you need approval from the administrator.

The first time you met him, he was a black-haired, unapproachable beauty. His voice soared, crystal clear, flying far above the clouds.

His song ended abruptly, that voice cut off and you gaze at him, embarrassingly aware that he is aware of your eyes fixed unmoving on him.

He smiles a ghost of a smile and his eyes flicker. Your eyes wander over his pale porcelain skin, soft rose-petal lips and settle on eyes that drown you in their depths.

You cough deliberately, snapping out of your reverie and stepping into the recording booth after him, ever-so-carefully avoiding his touch.

A deep breath, relax. And just sing.

You focus on the music, letting it flow through your veins like it always has and weaving emotion raw into your voice. Closing your eyes, the passion sweeps slowly through your soul and spreads its wings.

When you open your eyes, he looks at you with that glimmer in his eyes and stands up to leave, but not before extending a hand - "Kim Jaejoong."

A timid smile spreads across your face and you take his hand gently, as if it could shatter if you shook it too hard. You try to respond but all that comes out of your mouth is a shy squeak and you flush pink.

He seems like he's going to laugh, but his face just glitters with amusement and he nods to you, brushing past to exit.

He has always seemed an otherworldly being.

When the chorus comes around, you face him and sing out your heart, and you think you catch a glimpse of forever. His voice seeps through your skin and sinks into you, intertwines into a perfect harmony with yours, raw beauty and sweet purity all at once.

When the song ends, you are in tears, trailing down your face and you hope, you wish that this could be forever.

You like to believe that with every day he's more there, warmer, more alive -- But Jaejoong has always been beyond your reach.

He sits beside you, silent and pale as a ghost on the shore of the Han River. The night air pulls and tugs at silken strands of his hair, and those doe-eyes are lost somewhere in the distance.

You hug your knees close to your chest, and sit a little closer, sharing your warmth. He takes your hand, almost subconsciously, and your fingers lace through his, just a simple i'll be here.

He looks at you then, a mixture of something you don't know - and perhaps don't quite want to know - brewing in the ebony depths of his gaze.

"Sing with me?"

You look at him in surprise, left speechless, but you nod in assent, okay.

He leans against you, humming out softly and you count, three notes down and harmonize.

A deep breath, relax. And just sing.

It is a song without words, without thought. You are content just to hear his voice with yours, an assurance of his presence.

Because you don't know if he'll be there the next morning.

His skin is translucent, you think, as you cling feebly to his hand. The room around you is white on white on white, metal and equipment and the steady beep keeping time.

You lay your head beside his shoulder - white sheets on white skin - tears, threatening to escape but he sighs, strokes your hair and you break inside because you knew all along, it couldn't be forever.

"Youngwoong-hyung.."

"Please - don't."

You look at him, apology written clear across your eyes. "Jaejoong-ah."

He smiles, cocks his head slightly to the side, a questioning glance. "What is it?"

"Sing with me?"

His lips tremble before he sings a familiar tune under his breath, lifting your chin and smiling, smiling because he wants you to be happy and you realize he's become your sky and your wings are broken, you're falling, falling, falling.

But he keeps singing, pleading with his voice and when it falters, you look him in the eye.

A deep breath, push the tears back. And just sing.

You are supporting him now, roles are reversed, and Jaejoong seems so human.

White coat, white hair, he comes in, shakes his head - "Stay with him, because he may not be here the next morning."

And you suddenly realize, Jaejoong is just all too real.

You stare at his face: pale, porcelain, beautiful. Emotionless. Cold. You say nothing, standing in line with the other four, hands joined and a space left in the middle. Waiting for them to be five again but that will never happen.

You step forward, reach a hand as if you want to touch - to feel, just one more time. But your hand stops and you turn away, a single tear tracing a path down your cheek.

Your wings are gone and you will always miss your sky. But perhaps - perhaps you will meet again in your next life.
